TV Show Trials

BURNA BOY FOOTBAL SHOW is a platform created for aspiring young footballers, between the ages of 18 to 21 years who wish to chase a career in professional football.

This show happens in 4 stages

STAGE 1. REGISTRATION

This is the first stage during which eligible talents can register for the show:
This applies to everyone between the ages of 18 to 21 years old.
  • Registration can be done online via our website.
  • The registration fee is N10,000 per applicant, regardless of the currency of your home country.
  • Once registration and payment is completed, you will get an email to this effect.
  • Screening dates and venue will be communicated via SMS, email or our website -burnaboyfootballshow.com
  • Registration will last for 60 days only.

STAGE 2. SCREENING

  • Screening will take place in geo-political zones – Lagos, Osun, Abuja, Enugu, Akwa-Ibom, Kano, Kwara, Port Harcourt and Warri for Nigerians.
  • The Screening will run for 2 days in each zone while the screening in Lagos will run for 5 days because of the huge number of talents we expect to take part.
  • At the screening locations, you will be required to show your proof of payment and your notification email or text from the Davido Dream Football Show.
  • The screening process will include watching you play and showcase your talent before a distinguished panel of judges and scouts who will subsequently select the best players they believe have what it takes to survive and prosper in a professional league.
  • For talents outside of Nigeria, it will take place in the capital of your country as arranged by your local Football Association in your country.
  • Only after you have been selected as the best talent in your country will we arrange your tickets to fly you over to camp in Lagos, Nigeria where you will join other talents from around Africa.

STAGE 3. THE DREAM CAMP

  • BURNA BOY FOOTBALL SHOW camp is located on the Island of Lagos, Nigeria.
  • In this facility, the players will be trained and monitored.
  • They will be put through different exercise regimens as determined by our coaches and fitness experts to ascertain their physical and mental state. They will perform sundry tasks and compete amongst themselves and invited teams.
  • Facilities at the BURNA BOY FOOTBALL Camp include a swimming pool, a big training field, basketball court and a recreational hall.
  • While in the BURNA BOY FOOTBALL Camp, talents will receive and abide by a set of rules. Non-compliance will result in disqualification and dismissal. The rule book is available on the website - www.burnaboyfootballshow.com.
  • Every talent accepted into BURNA BOY FOOTBALL camp will be treated and respected like a professional footballer in order to prepare them for the professional life and treatment they will get as professional footballers in the Premiership or elsewhere.

Like any other football camp, we have just one goal and that’s getting the best talents fit and available for selection for the games arranged for the scouts we have from various clubs around the world to see firsthand and witness the brilliance we have put together for selection, and then it is up to you the talents to prove yourself worthy.

STAGE 4. PREPARATION

  • This is the stage where we pick the best talents out of the competition to showcase them to all our partner clubs in Europe as the finest and trusted talents that we have acquired and mentored to meet their standards.
  • At this stage, you will be required to submit your international passport or get one if you don’t have one.

Security

Security will always be present with escorts from one location to another.

Medical/ Health

Medical/ Health support will be provided promptly in cases of injury or sickness while the talents are in our care.

NOTE:

  • Be on time for every session.
  • Wear proper footwear at all times.
  • Players should wear shin guards at all times.
  • Field uniforms are not to be worn in the swimming pool.
  • Listen carefully when you are being addressed.
  • Maintain order in the dining hall.
  • Obey all rules your instructor implements.
  • No hats will be worn unless deemed necessary by the athletic trainer or head coach.
  • When on the field, players are not allowed; drinks or snacks. Glucose would be given to players for energy.
  • Players are required to display good sportsmanship and attitude.
  • All campers are expected to take part and be punctual to all sessions unless deemed unfit or sick by the camp trainer. Injured players must continue to attend all sessions unless otherwise advised by the trainer.
  • Light out is at 12:00 AM unless otherwise instructed by the camp directors/ camp captain. Campers are not permitted to leave their rooms after lights out and are expected to retire promptly.
  • Unnecessary noise, damage to any housing facility and indiscipline is to be avoided.
  • Stealing is considered a reason for dismissal. Do not take anything that does not belong to you.
  • Campers bringing fireworks or weapons of any kind will be sent home immediately upon disclosure.
  • Drugs of any kind are not permitted. Smoking is not permitted. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Please inform the trainer of any specific prescription drugs that you are required to take while at camp.
  • Campers are not permitted to leave the camp at any time regardless of the method of transportation without specific permission from the camp director.
  • Any form of violence i.e. fighting, hitting, punching and bullying, would not be tolerated.
  • Phonographic material or content is not allowed.
  • Control your Ego. If player[s] have any issue with any other player, such issue should be reported to the coach.
  • Any issue with a coach must be reported to House/Team captains.
  • All broken or damaged items or equipment should be reported to the directing staff immediately.
  • Girlfriends or boyfriends are not allowed except family members on visiting days, Visiting days are on Sundays between 1 PM and 4 PM.
  • Cabins and all surrounding areas must be kept clean and free of debris.
  • The kitchen is off limits except to paid camp staff and design volunteers.
  • If you have been dismissed or eliminated from the show, you will have 48hrs to leave the camp after your family has been notified.
  • Any player found breaking any of these rules set by Burna Boy Football Academy will automatically be disqualified.
